Justin is an entrepreneur and physicist. Assured is his third company, his first two being in the autonomous aircraft and wireless energy beaming spaces, respectively. He has a passion for applying state of the art technology to overlooked industries, and insurance is his current focus. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Aeronautics and Astronautics from Stanford University.
Theo is the co-founder of Assured, a platform that aims to disrupt the insurance industry by modernizing its most critical component: claims. He studied CS at Stanford, and previously founded the leading platform for film festival ticketing and streaming, Eventive.
Richard is Head of Sales at Assured, where he heads up sales, business development, and customer success. Prior to joining Assured, he served as Senior Director at Duck Creek Technologies, a leading SaaS provider of core system solutions to the P&C and General Insurance industry.
Throughout his nearly three decade long career, Richard has held a variety of executive leadership roles, serving as VP, Head of Insurance Sales at Solera/Audatex, VP of Sales & Marketing at LYNX Services, VP of Corporate Accounts at Mitchell International, VP, National Sales Director at Online Insight, and Sales/Account Executive at Konica-Minolta. He began his career with ComputerLogic, Inc., where he spent over 12 years in a variety of sales, marketing, and general management positions.
Richard earned his Bachelor Degree in Political Science from The University of Georgia and studied abroad at The University of Innsbruck at Austria.
Jesse is Head of Engineering at Assured, where he leads the product engineering team. Before joining Assured, he served as Senior Vice President at DISCO (NYSE: LAW), an AI-driven legal technology and services company, where he led a team of 165 engineers across all Feature and Platform product domains, AI/ML, Security, SRE, and DevOps.
With 25 years of experience, Jesse has been a key technical lead in various settings. At USAA, he developed the Internet Portal Framework and later led the application infrastructure team responsible for USAA's first iOS, Android, and Win Phone 7 mobile apps, including the banking industry's first mobile check deposit solution. He has built music industry applications for artists like Jackson Browne and CSNY, led a DARPA team developing Project X cyber warfare software, and directed product realization teams at frog design, delivering solutions for clients such as Disney, Ray Dalio at Bridgewater, S&P Capital IQ, and American Express. Jesse also served as Senior Principal Engineer at InVision during its early stages and later co-founded Den, a short-term rental real estate platform.
In addition to his engineering team leadership and hands on engineering work, Jesse has authored two O'Reilly technical books on UI Engineering and has spoken at some of the world's largest developer conferences.
